The Association for Rural Development of the Lugo Region, established on June 3, 2016, is open to integrating any other associative entity that shares its objectives.
Its mission is to facilitate the rural development of the territory by promoting various projects that strengthen the region.
Additionally, being constituted as a Rural Development Group (GDR-04), it is also the agency responsible for managing LEADER funds in the territory, in collaboration with the Galician Agency for Rural Development (AGADER), under the Xunta de Galicia.
The Ingalicia Cultural Association, founded in 2007, promotes community integration and European culture among young people. It supports professional internships, language learning, and understanding the European labor system.
Its main activities include organizing visits, meetings, and European planning for public bodies in youth policies, sports, local economic development, culture, and cooperation with underdeveloped countries. It believes transnational experiences help young people grow within a European dimension, enabling them to shape Europe’s future.
Ingalicia primarily works within European programs like ERASMUS+ (European Voluntary Service, Youth in Action, Youth Exchanges, National Youth Initiatives, Youth Workers’ Mobility, Internships, etc.), aiming to: enhance cultural and system understanding; promote cultural exchange and language skills; and foster young people’s active participation in society.
It has been Youth Information Correspondents for A Coruña since 2009 and the Local Eurodesk for A Coruña since June 2010.
Established in 1992, the Union of Bulgarian Black Sea Local Authorities (UBBSLA) is an independent non-governmental and non-profit organization, a regional network of 21 municipalities, located in the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. UBBSLA co-ordinates the activities of its member in the sphere of local government, energy efficiency, tourism, culture, transport, environmental and sustainable development. As most of UBBSLA members are rural municipalities, the focus of the Association work is in the area of agrarian sector, rural tourism, young entrepreneurship support in local business opportunities, etc.
UBBSLA has significant experience in working, training and involving local communities incl. municipal administration, experts, young people, including NEETs, students, teachers, experts, etc. in the framework of EU projects and other initiatives of the Association, such as capacity building in specific areas, youth involvement in local climate policy, campaigns for beach cleaning, video contest for youngsters, awareness events for important social issues such as prevention of drug addiction, environmental education, NEETs skill developed and employability trainings, awareness-raising campaigns, etc. UBBSLA has established very strong communication and partnerships with institutions and organizations responsible for the local government, local and regional development, environment protection, tourism development, social and youth initiatives, education and social security of the Black Sea municipalities.
Established in 2017, BIA is Ireland’s leading VET body for the food sector, providing incubation and innovation support and mobilising industry collaboration projects. These include climate smart initiatives, inclusion and citizenship projects around food sovereignty and security.
As a VET organization, BIA is also an inclusive point of access to powerful food industry knowledge and skills all in one place.
BIA will work hard to ensure effective teamwork, encouraging partners to be proactive in communications and contribute meaningfully to all project activities.
Coordination and communication will reflect the human centered design approach with an emphasis on agile processes, roadmaps and milestones, in balance with spaces for user insights, reflective listening and exploratory thought that will lead to more creative, innovative and effective outcomes.
Educational Association, z. s. aims to develop an open educational society, information, consultation, and guidance activities in the framework of LLL. It contributes to a better understanding of practices, policies, and systems in education and training in different countries.
It is experienced in the development of training materials, modular curricula, and training courses, developing European projects within LdV, Grundtvig, and Erasmus+ projects. With more than 17 years of experience, EA as a whole has promoted or participated in more than 13 projects. All those projects have focused on education, training, and quality management activities, improving the provision and assessment of basic and transversal skills, in particular: entrepreneurship, social, civic, intercultural and linguistic competences, critical thinking, digital and media literacy.
The organization has links with vocational schools. It aims to strengthen and deepen students’ theoretical knowledge and development of practical skills in the fields studied. Its KA2 project in VET – Through Entrepreneurship Education towards improving the quality of VE aimed at entrepreneurship education in secondary technical and vocational schools. The KA2 project DIGITAL Z-WOMEN: Empowering Gen-Z women with digital entrepreneurship skills aims to empower young women born between 1995 and 2010 by providing them, as well as the VET professionals/mentors working with them, with an innovative learning journey that facilitates their transition to digital entrepreneurship.
HIESE – Habitat for Innovation in Strategic Sectors is an innovation space that began its activities in 2016. This operational model results from a partnership between IPN Incubator and the Municipality of Penela, and is officially registered. The management and incubation model is overseen by IPN Incubator, while the infrastructure is owned by the Municipality of Penela.
The mission of HISE is to promote entrepreneurship and innovation in rural areas by providing excellent conditions and services to support companies, particularly in the early stages of their life cycle. This enhances their capacity for innovation, growth, and competitiveness. Strategic sectors include agribusiness, forestry, clean energy, ICT, environment, circular economy and bioeconomy, and tourism products and services.
